A note about assistance (copied verbatim from IB Lang/Lit course guide):
"As part of the learning process, teachers can give advice to students on a first draft of the task. This advice should be in terms of the way in which the work could be improved, but this first draft must not be annotated or edited by the teacher. After making general comments on the first draft, teachers should not provide any further assistance."
In other words:
Ms. Lamp and Mr. Dannen can read your first draft and give you general comments (example: you seem to have more summary than analysis; this seriously needs to be proofread; work on your focus and organization of ideas). However, we are not permitted to put ANY comments on the paper itself or mark up your grammar in any way. Trust me, it's just as difficult for us to hold back from comments as it is for you be so independent with this assignment. But we have faith in you! :)
